Stupid XBOX 360........what was I thinking?

After years of saying that we would never have video games in our house.........I went out and bought an Xbox 360 for Steven's Birthday. He was really really really HATING his job and I felt bad for him. So I thought that I would buy this for him so that he could just unwind at night. It was a great idea.....for about the first 5 minutes that I had it home. Its not Steven that has the problem though. It is Britton. The kid is completely addicted. I have been good about managing his time on it. At least I thought. Until tonight as I was tucking him in and we were talking, he informed me that he wasn't going to be able to be a soccer player anymore, as he had always planned. He said that it would take too much time away from the Xbox. I about died. I brought the dang thing into the house. Now it is time for me to bring it right back out.

  2. LOL!!!! That is hilarious! What a cutie!!! Good luck with that, we are still being harassed by Sam for not having a Wii- seriously tears over being the "ONLY ONES!!!" without one. ;)

  3. You poor thing! I know Jamie egged Steven on! but he is now learning the harsh reality that having a newborn in the house cuts drastically into gaming time:) I have heard of "locks" that let you program a specific amount of time per user code and after it the time is up it automatically shuts it off so you dont have the be the bad guy - it just ran out of time! I considered one for Jamie but never followed through to find it! Good luck!
